About the role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC duct fabrication engineer to support our production and project teams. You will interpret consultant drawings, prepare fabrication packages, and ensure compliance with SMACNA and DW/144 schedules.
You will work closely with production, QC, and site teams to resolve technical queries and optimize material usage without compromising quality or safety.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review fabrication drawings and cutting lists for rectangular and spiral ductwork.
- Coordinate with production to sequence jobs and meet project deadlines.
- Support QA/QC with technical clarifications and as-built documentation.
- Liaise with project managers and clients on scope, changes, and approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC duct fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SMACNA standards and duct construction classes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with CAM/nesting software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
